Hello. We’re Jon and Angela, professional photographers since 2005, proud parents since 2009 and founders of ‘Playtime Pictures’.
In 2005, keen photographers Jon and Angela decided to turn their passion into a business. They have been shooting weddings in the UK and Europe, as well as spending plenty of time with their two children, Freja and Felix
They launched Playtime Pictures, specialising in pre-school photography in Sussex and Hampshire, in 2014.
Black + White Art Portraits
Our unique black & white preschool photography captures those moments at preschool that a child’s loved ones seldom get to see. Joining the children in the setting, we draw upon our experience as both photographers and parents to create beautiful, natural portraits.
Creating Timeless Memories
After each session we select the very best pictures of each child for presentation to parents and carers. They are invited to select their favourites and choose from a selection of print sizes. Images can be supplied mounted or as framed art works.
I could not be happier with the pictures and will use Angela for all our future pictures.

We were recommended to Playtime Pictures by one of our parents. We arranged a visit for Angela to come in to the nursery, and share their portfolio with us. We felt very at ease and positive about her enthusiasm and passion for their work.
One of the most important factors was we didn’t fell under any pressure, they put themselves out to visit the nursery and get to know our environment, and of course the children!
The ‘Photography Days’ in June this year were an enjoyable experience, both Angela and Jon took their time, making the staff and especially the children feel comfortable around their presence.
In fact the whole experience has been delightful, and I certainly feel that Angela and Jon offer a real ‘Personal Touch’ to their work.
We have has such positive feedback from our families, and the end results and orders received prove the real outcome.
So now we can pass on our recommendation to other Early Years settings, without any doubt.
In fact we have already booked again, and look forward to our existing and new families being excited and emotional at seeing their child’s photograph produced in a natural and eye catching way!
Having shown them to the twins’ grandparents who were also overwhelmed by them; we have ordered further reprints and the service has been excellent, the quality of the photos and service has been first class.
The photos they took earlier this year really capture the true spirit of the children at play. It was all done without disruption and because they have young children of their own, they connect with the playgroup children so well. The photos speak for themselves and a few are now featured on our new website. The photos were delivered on time and the after service was very good. I look forward to having them in the playgroup again.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Jon and Angela to anyone who requires photography at it’s best.
